What you need.
- System
- Windows 10 (1809 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit. Windows 11 gives borderless window capture.
- Space
- The installer is 7.4 MB. Recordings are stored compressed on your drive.
- Graphics
- Any modern GPU. MP4 export uses NVIDIA, Intel or AMD hardware encoding when present.
- Internet
- Not needed to record. Only for updates and the one-time captions model.

Why does SmartScreen warn me?
Vuoom is not code-signed yet, and Windows warns about any new unsigned app. Click More info, then Run anyway. Every installer is built in public by GitHub Actions from the source code.
Which file should I pick?
The .exe for most people. The .msi suits managed or company machines. Both install the same app.
How do I update?
Vuoom checks GitHub Releases when it starts. When a new version is out, an Update button appears in the top bar. Nothing installs until you click it.
How do I uninstall?
Settings, Apps, Installed apps, Vuoom, Uninstall. Your saved projects stay where you saved them.
